North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency carried out disinfectant spraying at Menunggu Dirimu Park, Harapan Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-agency Sector 7 Head, Buang Miharja mentioned, his side disinfected all public facilities in the location, such as benches, road, and area around the park.

"Disinfectant spraying is a preventive measure taken to anticipate COVID-19 transmission in Harapan Island which is known as tourist destination as well as residential island in Thousand Islands," he explained, Tuesday (6/8)

According to him, disinfectant spraying was carried out by 4 personnel from Harapan Island Guard Post using 1 water sprayer.

"It uses 15 disinfectant liquid for this spraying," he conveyed.
