One of the students at SDN Pulau Kelapa 01 Pagi, Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, Rafa Nur Fabian expressed his joy at being able to take part in face-to-face learning (PTM) amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
"It's nice to be back at school, to meet friends and teachers in person," expressed the fourth grader student, Friday (6/11).

"Hopefully I can continue to study at school, can follow direct lessons, so I can meet teachers and friends every day. I hope Covid-19 ends soon," she exclaimed.
SDN Pulau Kelapa 01 Pagi Principal, Ulmu Bahroir added the learning started at 8 AM to 10 AM.
"Today's students who attend are from grades IVA and IVB," he explained.
He explained the schedule for the second PTM trial would follow the schedule set by the Thousand Islands Education Sub-agency while still implementing health protocols for educators and students, either before or during the KBM.
"We also received assistance from the Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency to sterilize the school area by spraying disinfectants to prevent the spread of Covid," he stated.
