117 Netted in Tanah Abang for Not Wearing Masks

As many as 117 people were netted in the mask operation held by the sub-district Satpol PP, on Monday (6/28).

Tanah Abang Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Budi Salamun said it involved 10 personnel spread over each location. They got assistance from army, police, urban village apparatus and FKDM.

"It is done in settlements and roads in seven urban villages spread over Tanah Abang," he expressed.

Of 117 violators, 18 were netted from Kebon Melati, 20 were from Petamburan, 26 were from Kampung Bali, 26 were from Bendungan Hilir, 16 were from Karet Tengsin and 10 were from Gelora.

"116 are subject to social work sanctions and one was subject to fine administrative," he expressed.

He added personnel also held health protocols monitoring at 39 locations of business places and offices.

"We give warning letters to two business owners. The rest, 37 places of business, no violations were found," he closed.
