Violating Regulations, Cengkareng Satpol PP Closes Restaurants and Drives Out Street Vendors

Emergency PPKM monitoring continues to be intensified in various locations throughout Jakarta. In Cengkareng Sub-district, West Jakarta, two restaurants and tens street vendors (PKL) were driven out during monitoring held on Monday (7/5) night to Tuesday (7/6) dawn.

We hope residents can be more disciplined in implementing health protocol

Cengkareng Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Asromadian mentioned, his side monitored Emergency PPKM implementation on Jl. Baru, Jl. Malibu, Jl. Kompleks Palem Mutiara, Jl. Kamal Raya Ring Road, Jl. Gunung Galunggung, Jl. Kali Mookervart, and Jl. Haji Jairi.

"We close two restaurants on Jl. Taman Palem Mutiara and Jl. Galunggung for 1x24 hours because they violate Emergency PPKM regulations. Personnel also manage to drive out tens PKLs and give them written warnings," he stated, Tuesday (7/6).

His side hopes business owners and PKLs can comply with applicable regulations during Emergency PPKM to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission.

Meanwhile in Kembangan Sub-district, three PKLs were driven out from trading in several points, such as CNI area and Jl. Kembangan Raya.

Kembangan Sub-district Satpol PP Head, S. Siringoringo conveyed, his side socialized residents and road users about the importance of 5M, especially wearing mask when doing activities outside.

"We hope residents can be more disciplined in implementing health protocol in order to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission," he asserted.
