Thousand Islands Regency received assistance in form of 240 mattresses for controlled isolation locations in the region from Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation.

Thousand Islands Economy and Development Section Head, Endro Mukti Wibowo conveyed, his side planned to distribute the mattresses to controlled isolation locations in six urban villages.
"These mattresses will be used in emergency or when many residents are directed to carry out controlled isolation," he said after handing over assistance at Mitra Praja Office, Sunter, North Jakarta, on Tuesday (7/6).

"In addition to distributing it to each urban villages, but we also take 50 m
attresses as backup," he added.Meanwhile, Thousand Islands Assistant for Administration, Economy, and Development, Iwan P. Samosir said, today he led mattresses distribution to two urban villages, namely Untung Jawa Island Urban Village and Panggang Island Urban Village. Tomorrow, he will continue to distribute it to Harapan Island Urban Village and Kelapa Island Urban Village.
"Thank you for your concern. We also invite other private parties to collaborate in COVID-19 handling. Hopefully we can recover quickly and economy can return to normal," he mentioned.
