Jakarta Receives Support for Handling Covid-19 Worth Rp 2 Billion

The Jakarta administration has received support for handling Covid-19 from PT SiCepat Ekspres worth Rp 2 billion. It is manifested in the form of 1,011 single mattresses (beds and pillows) and 12 units of medical devices, such as syringe pumps, infusion pumps, Comen H3 ECG, and EN NF 15.

People's Welfare Acting Assistant, Suharti said that those mattresses would be distributed to Nagrak and Pasar Rumput flats in order to meet the bed needs of Covid-19 patients undergoing isolation there.

"As for medical devices will be sent to hospitals to help improve the hospital's ability to accept Covid-19 patients in Jakarta whose number is increasing very high," she expressed, after the symbolic handover procession at the Jakarta City Hall, Friday (7/9).

She appreciated SiCepat Ekspres for collaborating with the administration in dealing with the pandemic, especially in efforts to handle and rescue residents who were sick due to Covid-19.

"We're about to strengthen collaboration even better and we invite collaboration with other parties, either companies or communities to optimize it," he stated.

SiCepat Ekspres Corporate Communication, Rangga Andriana disclosed RP 6 billion was allocated for medical equipment, especially for the extension program for 31 hospitals in Jakarta.

His party also allocated Rp 2 billion for shipping costs for telemidicine cooperation with the Health Ministry, the administration and the Pikobar Jawa Barat application.

"Basically, since the beginning of the pandemic, we have synergized with the administration, the ministry and related parties. Certainly we will help more through the upcoming programs that we will implement soon," he added.
