Duri River Sheet Pile Repair Progress on Jl. Padamulya Touches 70 Percent

West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is repairing Duri River's sheet pile on Jl. Padamulya, Tambora. This repair has been progressed up to 70 percent.

West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Drainage Maintenance Section Head, Wawan Kurniawan stated, repair work had been carried out since Friday (7/2). According to him, damage on sheet pile is due to age factor that makes the river becomes not optimal in holding water, especially when heavy rain falls.

They repair the sheet pile by installing 500 dolken logs.
"We are targeting this repair to finish in the next two weeks," he mentioned.
After repairing sheet pile, he expected the river could be more optimal in holding water, better in aesthetic, and stronger.
