Cipayung Sub-district Prepares 7 Isolation locations for OTGs

Cipayung Sub-district, East Jakarta prepared 7 controlled isolation locations for asymptomatic COVID-19 patients (OTGs) to anticipate if there are OTGs who cannot be accommodated in hospitals, Wisma Atlet, and Nagrak Public Housing.

Cipayung Sub-district Head, Fajar Eko Satrio mentioned, those 7 locations are GOR Setu, SMA Muhammad Husni Thamrin (MHT), Sasana Krida Building, Karang Taruna (SKKT) Cilangkap, SKKT Munjul, SKKT Lubang Buaya, practice hotel for SMKN 24, and sub-district head's official house on Jl. Raya Cilangkap.

"We have prepared 7 temporary shelter locations for COVID-19 OTGs. It is to anticipate surge in patients who cannot be accommodated in hospitals, Wisma Atlet and Nagrak Public Housing. We hope number of COVID-19 cases in Cipayung doesn't increase," he said, Friday (7/16).

From those 7 isolation locations, he added, only SMA MHT Building that is ready for use because it has been equipped with floor mattresses, pillows and bolsters. While at GOR Setu, only 20 velbeds are available and at SKKT Cilangkap, currently thick carpet is prepared. In addition, sub-district head's official house has also been tidied up.  

"Especially for sub-district head's official house, it can be used by healthy residents. Thus residents who are exposed to COVID-19 can carry out self-isolation at home thus they can feel more comfortable and recover quickly. Other healthy family members can stay at sub-district head's official house," he explained.

According to him, SMA MHT also provided food for OTGs who carry out self-isolation in there. Because it is a boarding school, its facilities are very complete.
