Parts of Jakarta to See Light Rain at Noon Today

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast rain in some areas of the capital today, Wednesday (7/21).

Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in part of South and East Jakarta areas at noon and in the late afternoon

"Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in part of South and East Jakarta areas at noon and in the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

In the afternoon, light rain is expected to shower West Jakarta. Then rain accompanied by lightning will hit South, East Jakarta, except North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

Rain with Lightning is Potential to Fall in Parts of Jakarta This Afternoon

Entering the night, most regions would see clear cloudy.

At tomorrow's dawn, light rain is expected in Thousand Islands, followed by clear cloudy in West, South and East Jakarta, as well as cloudy in Central and North Jakarta.

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands is predicted at 25 to 33 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 65 to 90 percent.
