1,450 Central Jakarta Residents Vaccinated Today

Central Jakarta Government continues to intensify COVID-19 vaccination. Today, as many as 1,450 residents from age 12 to elderly in three sub-districts, namely Menteng, Johar Baru, and Kemayoran, seemed enthusiastic about participating in vaccination.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma said, vaccination was carried out in three locations, namely SMKN 54 Jakarta, Jl. Bendungan Jago, Serdang, Kemayoran; SMAN 27 Jakarta, Jl. Dr. Sutomo No. 1, Pasar Baru; and Al Huda Talang Menteng Mosque.

"There are 500 vaccination participants at SMKN 54 Jakarta, 750 participants at SMAN 27 Jakarta, and 200 participants in Menteng Sub-district," he informed while monitoring vaccination activity, Saturday (7/24).

Vaccination Service at East Jakarta Mayor Office Serves 500 People a Day

Vaccination target in Central Jakarta for residents aged 12-17 years is 900 thousand people.

"Thank God, enthusiasm of Central Jakarta residents who want to be vaccinated is increasing. We hope residents will continue to take a part in vaccination at 52 mobile vaccine service, static and dynamic vaccination centers," he conveyed.

On the other hand, Nanang (37), Johar Baru resident admitted that he was grateful because vaccination center was not far from his house.

"I take a part in vaccination after being told by RT head that today mass vaccination is held at school and on weekends," he mentioned.
