Booster Vaccines Injected to Health Workers and Supporting Personnel in Kelapa Gading

It is aimed at increasing the body's immunity and anticipating the risk of transmission of Covid-19

The Kelapa Gading Sub-district Puskesmas, North Jakarta gave a third dose of booster vaccine to significantly increase antibodies for health workers and supporting personnel in healthcare facilities (fasyankes).

Kelapa Gading Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Diah Anggraeni said, the vaccine was intended for 235 health workers and support personnel.

"It is aimed at increasing the body's immunity and anticipating the risk of transmission of Covid-19 as they are categorized as vulnerable to infection," she expressed, Tuesday (8/10).

According to her, the supporting personnel included the administration, janitors and building security officers.

"It has been ongoing since Friday in stages. As of today at 3:30 PM, 75 people have been vaccinated," she explained.

She added, it was carried out starting at 2:30 PM every day on the second floor of the Kelapa Gading Sub-district Puskesmas.

"We received shipments of modern vaccines from the Health Sub-agency according to the target number to be vaccinated and carried out in stages until everything is completely finished," she stated.
