AKAP Bus Passengers Must Bring Vaccination Card Before Traveling

AKAP bus passengers or long-distance travelers in Jakarta must have been vaccinated at least with first dose vaccine. Passengers who haven't been vaccinated or cannot show their vaccination card are not allowed to leave although they bring negative COVID-19 certificate.

Not only vaccination card, passengers are also required to bring negative RT-PCR test result

Jakarta Transportation Agency' s Road Transport Terminal Unit Head, Syamsul conveyed, this policy applies to travelers at type A terminals, such as Kalideres Terminal, Tanjung Priok Terminal, Kampung Rambutan Terminal, and Pulogebang Integrated Terminal.

"Not only vaccination card, passengers are also required to bring negative RT-PCR test result which is valid for maximum 2x24 hours or negative rapid antigen test result for maximum 1x24 hours before departure," he mentioned, Wednesday (8/11).

Personnel in terminal will check passengers' documents before entering the bus. Passengers can show their vaccination certificate in form of card, letter sheet, or via PeduliLindungi application.

"Requirements for long-distance travel are vaccine cards and negative PCR or antigen test results according to provisions. For agglomeration, it requires STRP or statement letter from local government (outside DKI Jakarta). Apart from Instruction of Minister of Home Affairs No. 30/2021, other references are in Circular Letter of Minister of Transportation No. 56/2021," he said.

These terms and conditions are not only applied for passengers, but also bus drivers and crews at type A terminals.

"Bus crews are required to bring vaccination certificate and carry out antigen swab at least two days before. Personnel on duty also check their documents," he closed.
