494 Students at SMPN 290 Marunda Vaccinated

Of 120 quota provided, 45 are vaccinated for the first dose and the rest two for the second dose

The North Jakarta Health Sub-agency in collaboration with related agencies continues to intensify Covid-19 vaccinations for residents aged 12-17 years, one of which is at SMPN 290, Jalan Rusun, RT 02/07, Marunda Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district. From 549 participants, 494 or 90 percent have been vaccinated.

Jakarta DPRD's Commission E Member, Oman Rohman Rakinda appreciated it in order to complete the target of accelerating school community vaccination.

"Jakarta needs a big collaboration and schools are one of the effective clusters in accelerating vaccination considering that vaccines, places and participants are clearly available, just call and come," he expressed, on the sidelines of the monitoring at the location, Thursday (8/12).

North Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Yudi Dimyati added, the mobile vaccine car service at schools was held to easily facilitate students, teachers and support staffs for getting vaccinated.

"Of 120 quota provided, 45 are vaccinated for the first dose and the rest two for the second dose," he explained.

Radyt Firmansyah, an eighth grader of SMPN 290 admitted that he came to school accompanied by his parents to get the second dose.

"I'd been vaccinated the first dose at the same place on July 15. Hopefully, after all students have been vaccinated, we can learn face to face as before," he admitted.
