Vaccination Center at Rorotan Urban Village Office Provides 600 Vaccines

Vaccination center in Rorotan Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district, North Jakarta provided 600 doses of Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines for residents aged 12 years and over on Wednesday (8/18).

Until 11:00, as many as 201 people have been vaccinated from total 450 registrants

North Jakarta Cilincing Sub-district Head, Muhammad Andri conveyed, this vaccination center was held through collaboration between North Jakarta Government with Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) and Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation.

"Until 11:00,as many as 201 peo ple have been vaccinated from total 450 registrants, both with first and second doses. People can still register until 12:00," he mentioned.

As of today, 60 percent of total target 340,000 residents in Cilincing Sub-district have been vaccinated with first dose vaccine.

"There are 41,668 targeted residents in Rorotan Urban Village, where 25,918 people or 62.20 percent have been vaccinated with first dose. In order to pursue herd immunity, we need to intensify vaccination through collaboration with various parties," he stated.

In order to attract more people to take a part in vaccination program, Indonesian Navy provided staple food packages for residents who were vaccinated in the location.

"Hopefully vaccination in Rorotan Urban Village can reach 100% as soon as possible," he asserted.
