Seven Health Facilities in Central Jakarta Start to Provide Moderna Vaccines

Central Jakarta Health Sub-agency has started to give Moderna vaccines in seven health facilities for residents who have severe comorbidity and cannot be vaccinated using Sinovac and Astrazeneca vaccines.

Central Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Erizon Safari conveyed, seven health facilities that provide Moderna vaccines are RSCM, Gatot Subroto Army Hospital (RSPAD), St. Carolus Hospital, Abdi Waluyo Hospital, Jakarta City Hall Employee Health Service Center, Tarakan Hospital (RSUD), and Menteng Health Center (Puskesmas).

"Group of people who receive Moderna vaccines are those who have severe comorbidity such as autoimmune, kidney failure, cancer, and so on. They can include their doctor's approval letter regarding Moderna vaccine," he informed, Thursday (8/19).

Moderna vaccines, he continued, have been given to health workers who have already injected with two doses of vaccines as booster.

"Health workers team receives one doses of Moderna, while residents with comorbidity will be injected with two doses of Moderna vaccines gradually," he explained.
