Kramat Jati Puskesmas Launches Use of Moderna Vaccine

Hopefully it can run smoothly, especially for health workers and the general public

The Kramat Jati Sub-district Puskesmas, East Jakarta, launched the use of the Moderna vaccine, on Friday (8/20). On this first day, they had managed to inject 100 residents and health workers.

Kramat Jati Sub-district Head, Eka Darmawan said, the Moderna vaccine launching could provide convenience for residents. It was available for all people, including those with comorbid disease, the elderly and pregnant women.

"Kramat Jati Sub-district Puskesmas is trusted to carry out Moderna vaccines. Hopefully it can run smoothly, especially for health workers and the general public," she said.

According to her, it has been ongoing since today until October 3rd. In total, it was targeted to inject around 1,400 people or 100 people per day.

To support it, she had worked with all clinics in Kramat Jati, including BNN to send its health workers.

"We also have cooperated with urban village heads, RT/RW caretakers, TP PKK cadres, Jumantik cadres, posyandu, LMK, FKDM and other circles to intensify socialization," he said.

Kramat Jati Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Inda Mutiara added, around 20 health workers wore traditional clothes as it was still at the moment of the 76th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day.

"Today 100 people have received Moderna jabs, consisting of 50 residents and 50 health workers. Especially for health workers, this is the third dose for them. While the public, this is for the first dose," she explained.

As for the information, for those who have comorbidities but want to get vaccinated, please prepare your form and health certificate from the doctor. With the record in question have never been vaccinated against the first or second dose.
