Total 100 residents and students were targeted to be served by mobile vaccination service at SDN Palmeriam 01, 02, and 03, Palmeriam, Matraman, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (8/24).

Palmeriam Urban Village Economy and Development Head, Faqieh Insani stated, mobile vaccination service is held every Tuesday through collaboration between urban village, sub-district health center, and SDN 01 Palmeriam. This activity is provided to make it easier for residents who haven't been vaccinated. Besides, it is expected to meet vaccination target in the region.

"This mobile vaccination service is targeting residents aged 12-18 years. Because we want students to get optimal vaccination service," he stated.
For students, he assessed, vaccination was not only carried out to achieve herd immunity, but also to prepare them for face-to-face teaching and learning activities (KBM). He informed that vaccination rate in the region had reached 65 percent of total target 19,769 residents.
Palmeriam Urban Village Health Center Head, Desty Darman conveyed, vaccination service had been held several times. As many as 8 health workers, consisting of doctors, nurses, and midwives, and administrative staffs from urban village health center had been deployed to serve residents this mobile vaccination service.
"This mobile vaccination is carried out at school to bring the service closer to the residents. It is held every Tuesday with quota 100 people a day. Hopefully, more people will be vaccinated because it is located near residential areas," he closed.
