Seven Mahogany Trees on Jalan Kemang Selatan Pruned

Around seven Mahogany trees alongside Jalan Kemang Selatan I, Bangka Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan were pruned by seven officers of the South Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest Sub-agency, on Thursday (9/2).

South Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest Sub-agency's Lane Division Head, Arwin said, it was carried out to reduce the burden on the trees, because of high and dense branches.

"It aims to follow up on resident's request via CRM application," he expressed.

By doing so, it was expected to be able to anticipate fallen tree during rain or strong winds.

"This is for the sake of the safety and comfort of the public and passing motorists," he stated.
