Isnawa Hands Over Five PTSL Certificates in Manggarai Urban Village

South Jakarta Acting Mayor (Plt), Isnawa Adji handed over five land certificates for Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program to landowners in Manggarai Urban Village, Tebet, Thursday (9/16).

Land certificates are quite important for residents to provide legal certainty and ownership rights

In his remarks, he conveyed that PTSL is central government's program which aims to facilitate residents to get land certificates for free. He also expressed gratitude to South Jakarta BPN Office for helping residents to get their land certificates for free.

"Land certificates are quite important for residents to provide legal certainty and ownership rights, thus they can avoid disputes in the future," he said.

Commission A - BPN Discusses PTSL Program

According to quota in Manggarai Urban Village, there are 587 land plots owned by local residents that have been included in PTSL program. From that amount,55 land certificates had been issued and immediately handed over to residents.

"They feel more secure when having their land certificates. So I told them to take a good care of it and stored it properly in a safe place," he mentioned.
