Jet Ski and Sailing Sports Venues Managed by North Jakarta Youth and Sports Sub-agency

Jet ski and sailing sports venues at Taman Impian Jaya Ancol were officially managed by North Jakarta Youth and Sports Sub-agency.

Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency (Dispora) Head, Achmad Firdaus stated, jet ski and sailing sports venues which used for Asian Games 2018 was built by Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) using State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).

"Handover Report (BAST) has been carried out by Ministry of PUPR through Directorate General of Human Settlements (Cipta Karya) that grant those two venue assets," he said, Friday (9/24).

After that, those assets will be officially registered at Jakarta Regional Asset Management Agency (BPAD).

"In terms of asset, maintenance of jet ski and sailing sports venues will be the responsibility of North Jakarta Youth and Sports Sub-agency," he explained.

He mentioned that jet ski and sailing sports venues are international standard sport facilities. Those two venues had been tested at Asian Games 2018 and are actively used for Regional Training (Pelatda) and National Training (Pelatnas) for sailing and jet ski sports.

"Those venues can later be used by Jakarta people, both for sports coaching and training as well as to just channel their hobbies of sailing and jet skiing," he conveyed.
