New Puskesmas will Be Built in Kebon Melati in 2015

Jakarta Provincial Government is about to build a new community health center (puskesmas) in Kebon Melati Urban Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, in 2015. The puskesmas will stand on the 600-meter wide land at RW 12.

But, local residents ask for futsal field replacement that has been standing on the land.
Chairman of RW 12, Kebon Melati Urban Village, Agus Iskandar disclosed that his side is very supporting the puskesmas construction. Yet his side asks for futsal field replacement as a facility of fostering the younger generation.
"We do not reject it but we're fully welcoming and supporting the new puskesmas here. But it would be better the futsal field replacement can be built in our residential rather than in another RW," he stressed, Wednesday (11/26).
Responding on this matter, Head of Tanah Abang Sub-District, Hidayatullah revealed his side has repeatedly coordinated with locals. As a result, majority of them are agree on puskesmas construction.
"Residents already agree, yet they hope related unit does not eliminate sport facility in Kebon Melati Urban Village. Hence, its existence will be retained," he expressed.
He added, the sport and health are very important. "This is also for mutual interest," he finished.
