East Jakarta to Maximize Covid Vaccination in Flood-prone Areas

This aims to anticipate new cluster and to maintain the immunity of residents when they evacuate due to flooding

The East Jakarta administration is about to focus and maximize Covid-19 vaccination services in flood-prone areas next week. As the initial stage, they target people in RW 03 and 04 Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Makasar.

Cipinang Melayu Urban Village Head, Arroyantoro said, in RW 03 and 04, it would be held in the Indonesian Tourism Academy (Akpindo) Campu Hall, Kalimalang inspection highway on Tuesday (10/5).

"This aims to anticipate new cluster and to maintain the immunity of residents when they evacuate due to flooding," he expressed, Friday (10/1).

To support it, his party would open it in three time a week, precisely every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. It would open at 8 AM.

"Our target every day is about 1,000 people. However, the number of people who have not been vaccinated is actually quite small, as many residents have been vaccinated at the puskesmas or other places," he concluded.
