East Jakarta Mayor Distributes Food to Traders in Pulogebang

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar distributed food boxes to traders in Permai Market, Pulogebang, Cakung, on Monday (10/11).

We have distributed total 1,000 food boxes to residents today from 242 wartegs

Total 250 food boxes were distributed through Jakarta Government's Large-Scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) with CSR from PT. Pancoran Soccer Field (PSF) and Warteg Bahari Mandiri located in Pulogebang Permai.

In this activity, Anwar was accompanied by Cakung Sub-district Head, Fajar Eko Satriyo and Pulogebang Urban Village Head, Imran Mansyur. Not only distributing foods, they also educated traders to adhere to health protocols during the pandemic and PPKM Level 3 period.

"We have distributed total 1,000 food boxes to residents today from 242 wartegs (food stalls) spread across East Jakarta. Each warteg provides 50-250 food boxes to residents affected by COVID-19 pandemic," he conveyed.

According to him, this KSBB food program is conducted to help warteg traders who have been affected by COVID-19 pandemic. It is hoped this program can support their business and restore their economy to the way it was before.

"Jakarta Government collaborates with CSR to hold KSBB food in order to help warteg traders and residents affected by COVID-19," he stated.

This program will be held until next week in according in predetermined warteg locations.

"We also urge the community to always comply with health protocols during KSBB food implementation. It is important in order to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he mentioned.
