COVID-19 vaccination service, both for first and second doses, is still being intensified in Rorotan Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district, North Jakarta. Today, as many as 32 targeted residents have been vaccinated in Kampung Kali Gedong, RT 03/05, Rorotan Urban Village.

Target of this vaccination is Jakarta and non-Jakarta residents from age of 12 years to elderly

Health Worker from Rorotan Urban Village Health Center (Puskesmas), Yenima mentioned, vaccination was held through collaboration between North Jakarta Health Sub-agency and PT. Gajah Tunggal.

"Target of this vaccination is Jakarta and non-Jakarta residents from age of 12 years to elderly," she said, Friday (10/29).

Today's vaccination was held from 08:00 to 11:30 with total 36 registrants. However, only 32 registrants who passed the health screening and could be vaccinated.

"30 people are injected with first dose of Pfizer vaccines and 2 people with second dose of Sinovac vaccines," she explained.

This activity involved 5 vaccinators from PT. Gajah Tunggal and 2 health workers from Rorotan Urban Village Health Center who were assisted by personnel from Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) for participant registration.

"The collaborative vaccination is held on October 25-29 through roadshow in densely populated RWs with vaccination rate that are not yet optimal," she added.

Until today, about 84 percent of target or 41,668 targeted residents in Rorotan Urban Village have been injected with first dose vaccine.

"Vaccination is still carried out to provide protection for residents," she stated.

She informed that health center also provides vaccination service every day. Thus people who want to get vaccinated can come directly to Rorotan Urban Village Health Center.
