Joint Personnel Disperse Crowds at Two Locations

Joint personnel of Satpol PP, army and police, dispersed mass crowds in two locations during the PPKM and Operation Concentration activities in Cakung Sub-district, East Jakarta, on Saturday (10/30) dawn.

Cakung Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Harapan Tambunan said, the crowd was spotted in front of the Pulogebang Integrated Bus Terminal and above the Cakung Station Flyover, Pulogebang Urban Village.

"This is done to contain the spread of Covid-19," he expressed.

He added the operation involved 68 personnel was focused on nightclubs in AURI Housing Complex, Jalan Raya Bekasi, Ujung Menteng.

"No violation today. Moreover, all the nightclubs have closed according to the rules for operating hours during PPKM Level 2," he explained.

Aside that, they also conducted a community disease eradication operation (Pekat) and managed to seize around 80 liquor bottles from  stalls on Jalan Raya Penggilingan, Kayu Tinggi Inspection Road, Jalan Amalia and Jalan Rawa Bebek.

"It is tightened every weekend in order to anticipate unwanted things," he concluded.
