Prepare Your Umbrellas, BMKG Forecasts Rain Today for Jakarta

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is urging Jakartans to prepare themselves with umbrellas and rain coats as it predicts that rain will pour parts of Jakarta on Tuesday (11/2).

Remember, rain accompanied by lightning will hit West, South, and East Jakarta in the late afternoon

"Remember, rain accompanied by lightning will hit West, South, and East Jakarta in the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

West, Central, and North Jakarta are expected to see potential of rain with light intensity at noon, followed by thunderstorm in South Jakarta; moderate rain in East Jakarta; and cloudy in Thousand Islands.

Afternoon, Light Moderate Rain will Fall in Most Regions of Jakarta

In the evening, West, Central, South and East Jakarta will be cloudy, while light rain in North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

Entering in early morning, light rain will pour in West, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands, as well as cloudy in Central, South and East Jakarta.

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands are predicted at 23 to 33 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 65 to 100 percent.
