Parts of Jakarta to See Medium-light Rain This Friday

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) estimates that rain will blanket parts of Jakarta sky today, Friday (11/12).

The potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in short duration will fall in East, West and South Jakarta at noon or in the late afternoon

"The potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in short duration will fall in East, West and South Jakarta at noon or in the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

West Jakarta is forecast to see medium rain at noon; thunderstorm in South and East Jakarta; light rain in Central and North Jakarta; and cloudy in Thousand Islands.

BMKG: Cloudy Sky Covers Jakarta City Today

In the evening, most regions will be cloudy.

Entering early morning, cloudy will cover West, Central, South and East Jakarta, while light rain in North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands are predicted at 24 to 33 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 65 to 95 percent.
