72 Infiltration Wells Built in Cipayung

She explained, benefits of this infiltration well felt by Juniatun (48), a resident who lives in RW 02, Cipayung Urban Village. She admitted, there were two wells as deep as 20 meters and managed to tackle flooding in her area quickly.
"Before the well was made, our area was often flooded up to four to five hours. But now it subsided in just 30 minutes," she admitted.
He hoped that the number of wells could be increased to minimize flooding when it rains with high intensity. Thus when it is dry, the residents' groundwater reserves are sufficient.
