122,877 People Netted for Not Wearing Masks in Central Jakarta throughout 2021

The Central Jakarta Satpol PP has noted that as many as 122,877 health protocol violators have been netted throughout 2021 during the mask-wearing operation held in eight sub-districts spread across Central Jakarta.

In total, we have collected around Rp 42,450,000 in fines

According to Bernard Tambunan, Head of Central Jakarta Satpol PP, around 122,657 were subject to social sanctions and 220 others were subject to administrative fines.

"In total, we have collected around Rp 42,450,000 in fines," he expressed, Monday (1/3).

Mask Operation Keeps Being Intensified in North Thousand Islands

He detailed, most violators were from Senen (19,375 people), Cempaka Putih (17,975 people), Johar Baru (17,949 people), Sawah Besar (15,207 people), Menteng (14,984 people), Kemayoran (14,158 people), Tanah Abang (10,930 people), Gambir (8,777 people), as well as the raid from Satpol PP at city level (3,422 people).

"The operation will keep being intensified in order to create public order and curb the transmission of Covid-19," he stated.
