Seribu Islands Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) officers have been spraying disinfectant in eleven schools on Tidung Islands, South Seribu Islands Sub-district.

Seribu Islands PMI Chairman, Natsir Sabara said, spraying was started after school hours were over.

"It is done from noon to evening. This is our effort to curb the transmission of Omicron coronavirus variant," he expressed, Monday (1/31).

Those eleven schools were SDN 01 and TKN Pulau Tidung, SDN 02 and TKN Pulau Tidung, SDN 03 and TKN Pulau Tidung, as well as MIN 17 Pulau Tidung.

"This action involves four officers plus two water sprayers using 120 liters of eco-enzyme liquid," he stated.
