The Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted rain to hit most areas of Jakarta today with temperature that could reach 23-31 degrees Celsius and humidity 70-100 percent.

"Beware of rain with lightning and strong winds in South Jakarta and East Jakarta around late afternoon," as quoted from BMKG's official website, Monday (2/7).

In the afternoon, light rain will fall in West Jakarta, East Jakarta; cloudy in Central Jakarta; thunderstorm in South Jakarta; and partly sunny in North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

This evening will be cloudy in South Jakarta and East Jakarta, while light rain will fall in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Thousand Islands.

Then for tomorrow's dawn, BMKG expected moderate rain in all areas of Jakarta.
