BMKG Warns of Heavy Rains in Parts of Jakarta Today

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has issued warnings of possible heavy downpours occurring on Wednesday (2/16) in several regions across Jakarta.

Heavy rain accompanied by thunder and strong winds in parts of West, South, and East Jakarta from midday until in the late afternoon

"Heavy rain accompanied by thunder and strong winds to hit parts of West, South, and East Jakarta from midday until in the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

In this morning, the weather in West, South, and East Jakarta is bright cloudy; light rain in North Jakarta and Seribu Islands.

Jakartans May See Light to Medium Rains at Noon until Night

Meanwhile, other areas to see rain with moderate intensity at noon include West and Central Jakarta; heavy rain in East and South Jakarta; light rain in North Jakarta and Seribu Islands.

In the evening, rain with light-moderate rain is expected in West, Central, South, East, and North Jakarta; cloudy in Seribu Islands.

At tomorrow's dawn, rain will fall in West, Central, North Jakarta, and Seribu Islands; cloudy in other areas.

Temperatures in Jakarta are predicted at 24 to 32 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 75 to 100 percent.
