Muara Angke Floating Resto to Operate This Month

The construction of Muara Angker Floating Resto in Penjaringan, North Jakarta has finally been completed. The resto is targeted to start operating this March after all Fishery Food Court (Pujaseri) traders are relocated to the resto.

Muara Angke Technical Implementation Unit for Fisheries Port Management (UPT 3), Mahat conveyed the construction had been completed by the end of 2021.

"We decorated it with Betawian terrace, wayfinding lights, and an inner gate. Additions have been installed. Only traders are left," he added, Tuesday (3/8).

In total, there would be around 29 traders relocated, including 29 otak-otak (fish cake) traders on the roadside towards the selling area in the resto's parking lot.

According to him, the resto would be managed by a third party considering it has entered the administrative process.

After it was complete, the Jakarta Financial Management Agency (BPKD) would proceed to the reporting and assessment. If it was approved, the resto could start operating.

"We hope it can be processed immediately. Our target is to relocate traders and start operating this March," he stated.
