Sanctions are given to give deterrent effect for those who violate health protocols

Kalideres Sub-district Satpol PP Head Selvi Rachmawati stated the operation was held to improve people's discipline in wearing masks when doing activities outside.

"In total, we disciplined 32 people. 31 of them received social work sanctions and one person was fined by Rp 100,000," she explained, Monday (3/14).

She emphasized that the operation would keep being intensified thus residents understand the importance of implementing health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Sanctions are given to give deterrent effect for those who violate health protocols," she mentioned.
