Pancasila Mural Beautifies RW 09 Mangga Dua Selatan

The walls along Gang Budi Rahayu 3, RW 09, Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta are decorated with mural with theme of Pancasila and Jakarta Collaboration in line with appointment of RW 09 as the pilot project of Kampung Pancasila (Pancasila Village).

Mural is targeted to be finished by this week

Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village Head Agata Bayu Putra conveyed the 100-meter-long mural was made by PPSU personnel assisted by the Babinsa and Karang Taruna RW 09 to realize a clean and beautiful environment.

"Not only to beautify the environment, we also want to educate residents about Pancasila through the mural," he said, Friday (3/18).

According to him, Kampung Pancasila was initiated together with the Koramil 02 Sawah Besar with one Kampung Pancasila in each sub-district.

Apart from working on the mural, PPSU and residents had also built a gateway in RW 09.

"Mural is targeted to be finished by this week," he added.

Agi (64), a resident of RT 04/09 felt happy because the environment around his house looked lively and beautiful with mural painting.

"I'm happy when seeing mural every time I leave the house because it is colorful. Previously, the wall was very dirty and looked shabby," he mentioned.
