Four Tons of Waste Collected from Kali Angke River

Four tons of waste have been transported from the Kali Angke River, RW 06, Joglo, Kembangan, West Jakarta, Friday (3/18), after the floods hit the area when it rained yesterday.

We hope the water can flow more smoothly

Joglo Urban Village Head Matrullah said the waste was transported in the cleanup action which involved 30 joint officers from the Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency, Water Body Hygiene Executing Unit, and PPSU.

He explained that most wastes were dominated by tree branches, plastic, and so on.

"We hope the water can flow more smoothly," he hoped.
