Channel on Jalan Ampera VII Pademangan Barat Dredged

Ten officers from the Pademangan Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit, North Jakarta are seen normalizing the 33-meter-long water channel on Jalan Amera VII, RW 13 Pademangan Barat Urban Village.

Hope it can accommodate rainwater in large quantities and minimize puddles when it rains heavily

According to Slamet Riyanto, Head of Pademangan Sub-district SDA Executing Unit, the normalization included the deepening of the channel, as well as mud and garbage.

"The channel has been silted from the depth of the channel, which previously reached 150 centimeters, now only 80 centimeters," he expressed, Friday (3/25).

He added it has been ongoing since March 8 and is targeted to be completed in the forthcoming April.

"Hope it can accommodate rainwater in large quantities and minimize puddles when it rains heavily," he hoped.
