The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is urging Jakartans to prepare themselves with umbrellas and raincoats as it predicts that rain will pour over Jakarta on Thursday (4/21).

Thunderstorm and strong winds in short duration will hit West, East, and South Jakarta at noon and in the late afternoon

"Thunderstorm and strong winds in short duration will hit West, East, and South Jakarta at noon and in the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

West, Central, South, and East Jakarta will have rainy noon, while cloudy in North Jakarta and Seribu Islands.

At night, light rain will pour in West, Central, North Jakarta, and Seribu Islands. Then cloudy in South and East Jakarta.

Entering at dawn, most regions of Jakarta will be cloudy but a light rain in Seribu Islands.

Temperatures in Jakarta are predicted at 23 to 33 degrees Celsius with an air humidity of 70 to 100 percent.
