Rain Expected Across West, South, and East Jakarta at Noon and in the Late Afternoon

Rain showers are forecast to fall across Jakarta on Sunday (4/24), with some areas predicted to be hit with downpours that will last into the afternoon.

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said that rain of light intensity would hit West, Central, South, and North Jakarta in the morning, except East Jakrta and Seribu Islands.

"Beware of rain accompanied by thunder and strong winds in short duration in parts of West, South, and East Jakarta at noon and in the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

Jakartans to See Light Moderate Rain This Saturday Afternoon

While other areas such as West, Central, and East Jakarta will experience light rain; medium rain in South Jakarta; cloudy in North Jakarta and Seribu Islands.

Then at night until dawn, all regions of Jakarta will be clear cloudy.

Temperatures in Jakarta are predicted at 24 to 32 degrees Celsius with an air humidity of 70 to 95 percent.
