East Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar has opened BPJS Kesehatan Homecoming Post at Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal, Cakung, East Jakarta on Tuesday (4/26), to serve travelers until May 1.

People can access many kinds of health facilities at this post which operates 24 hours

The post provided various facilities, consisting of health services, medicines, health consultation, and two electric massage chairs. All of them were provided free of charge to passengers and bus crews.

His side appreciated BPJS Kesehatan which routinely opens the Homecoming Post every year to provide comfort for Eid travelers and bus crews.

"It is the right moment ahead of the peak of Eid homecoming, which is predicted by the government will take place on April 28," he uttered.

On this occasion, Eid travelers were also appealed to always comply with health protocols to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

"Don't let the COVID-19 cases in Jakarta increase again after the homecoming period," he asserted.

BPJS Kesehatan Director Ali Ghufron Mukti informed that the post would operate for 24 hours a day to serve BPJS Kesehatan participants who traveled. Five personnel had been assigned to each post, consisting of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.

"People can access many kinds of health facilities at this post which operates 24 hours," he conveyed.
