South Jakarta Mayor Asks Residents to Notify RT Before Going Home for Eid

South Jakarta Mayor Munjirin appealed to residents who are planning to go to their hometown for Eid to inform RT administrators in advance.

"Residents must proactively report to their RT heads before going home for Eid," he stated, Wednesday (4/27).

He also suggested residents who left their homes empty ask their close neighbors who were not going home to check their houses when they were not around.

"I suggest residents who are going home to leave the key to their close neighbors and ask them to turn off and turn on the lights in front of the house while they leave for Eid homecoming," he conveyed.

He also reminded them to carefully check their house before leaving it.

"Make sure all electronic devices in the house are unplugged from the power supply to anticipate fire incidents caused by a short circuit," he mentioned.
