City to Acquire Land at Karet Tengsin

The city government plans to take over the land on Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Timur V RT 014/11, Karet Tengsin Urban Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. An area of 1,000 square meters was known dominated by PT Security Phisik Dinamika (SPD) for years.

I will instruct the Tanah Abang Sub-District Head to immediately send a warning letter of land clearing

Land which is right next to the BNI Building 46, Jalan Jendral Sudirman, was an elementary school building until the school was closed ten years ago. Since that, the land has utilized by PT SPD for office.

Acting (Plt) Central Jakarta Mayor, Rustam Effendi said, based on National Land Agency (BPN) data checking, the land is belong to the city government rightfully.

Rustam continued, his side will follow up the data by taking over the land to prevent from abused by others. "I will instruct the Tanah Abang Sub-District Head to immediately send a warning letter of land clearing," he said, Tuesday (12/16).

Unfortunately, the PT SPD rejected to respond about the land acquisition plan when was contacted. An officer namely Dwi asked reporters to get out from the office area.

"There is nothing to be confirmed. Please go out," said Dwi.
