The new year holiday seems utilized by the capital and its surrounding citizens to visit the tourismm sites. One of the sites is Ragunan Zoo. Up to 12 PM, the visitors have reached 95 thousand people.

We have to apply one way system to ease the traffic flow

Due to high volume of visitor vehicles, the police personnel had to apply one way system for those who will enter the zoo. Traffic jam occurred on Jalan RM Harsono and Jalan TB Simatupang up to 2 kilometers.

" We have to apply one way system to ease the traffic flow ," said Wahyu Hadiningrat, South Jakarta Metro Police chief, Thursday (1/1).

According to him, the vehicles from Jalan Warung Jati Barat towards Jalan RM Harsono was moved to left toward Lenteng Agung and turn around under Tanjung Barat flyover.

"There are 4 big gates opened to accommodate the visitors," he added.

Starting from 3 PM his side applied the visitor reduction. Three gates will be used as exit access, while one gate is used for enter gate.
