West Jakarta Administration will equip the Kembangan Utara City Forest with the conservation pool.  By the early this year, the area will be also built as water absorption forest. Head of West Jakarta Sub-dept. of Agriculture and Forestry, Joko Rianto, said so.

According to him, the conservation pool will be able to reduce puddle around the city forest. "This year, we'll arrange the city forest not only as the lung of the city but also the water absorption," he said, Thursday (1/1).

Rianto added, the security around the city forest will be also improved. At this moment, the security fence is not fully cover the all area.

"Besides that, the area will completed also with butterflies breeding, toilet and office facilities. We have proposed Rp 3 billion to realize this plans," he uttered.
