The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has warned of possible thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds in parts of Jakarta today, Wednesday (8/3).

"Be aware of rain accompanied by thunder and strong winds in South, West, and East Jakarta in the afternoon," stated BMKG's official website.

BMKG issued the potential rain with low intensity in West and Central Jakarta in the afternoon, while South and East Jakarta will see thunderstorms, except in North Jakarta and Seribu Islands that see clear and cloudy.

In the evening, light rain is expected in West, Central, North Jakarta, and Seribu Islands. Then South and East Jakarta are predicted to see cloudy.

Entering dawn, most areas of Jakarta will be clear and cloudy, except in Seribu Islands.

Today's temperature is from 25 to 33 degrees Celsius with an air humidity of around 75 to 95 percent.
