Transportation Dept. Gives an Option to APTB

Jakarta Transportation Department is trying to encourage all operators of Transjakarta Bus Integrated Border Transportation (APTB) to join the PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta).

We encourage the APTB operators, whether they want to operate until the border city or join PT Transportasi Jakarta

"We encourage the APTB operators, whether they want to operate until the border city or join PT Transportasi Jakarta," expressed Head of Jakarta Transportation Department, Benjamin Bukit, at City Hall, Wednesday (1/14).

Bukit disclosed, if they were joined and became one management, PT Transjakarta would manage the APTB bus routes, including calculating the rupiah payment system per kilometer to the operator.

APTB Fleet Allowed to Operate Until Buffer City

According to him, there will no longer the dualism of ticket and route on Transjakarta bus lanes if the APTB has joined PT Transjakarta.

He added his party held coordination meeting for the success of such incorporation plan. "We will provide the facility in Transportation Department in accordance with Jakarta Governor's instruction," he disclosed.
