Jakarta Opens Registration for KJMU Phase II

Final data for recipients is set for October 4 to 26

The Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik) is opening registration for the 2022 Jakarta Superior Student Card (KJMU) Phase II from August 22 to September 2, 2022.

Disdik's Center for Personal Funding and Education Operations (P4OP) Technical Execution Unit Head Waluyo Hadi said that the senior high school (SMA)/equivalent could start receiving and inputting the registration of 2022 KJMU Phase I.

He detailed that the school announced temporary recipient data from the Jakarta administration's Integrated Data from September 16 to 26, 2022, while verification on the completeness of the documents for prospective recipients from September 27 to October 3, 2022.

"Final data for recipients is set for October 4 to 26," he expressed, Tuesday (8/23).

He explained that each student would receive funds by Rp 9,000,000 per semester. Then the D3 education level, the cost of improving the quality of education for up to six semesters could be extended for two semesters, while D4/S1 for up to eight semesters could be extended for two semesters.

With KJMU, the poor participants who have good academic potential could get access and study opportunities in higher education.

"Besides improving the quality of candidate education, it can motivate students to improve achievement and be competitive," he explained.
