E-Ticketing System Prepared at Muara Angke Port

Physical work on the revitalization of Muara Angke Port, Penjaringan Sub-district, North Jakarta has been completed.

Further, the management is preparing to migrate the crossing ticket payment system from Muara Angke Port to Seribu Islands and vice versa through an e-ticketing system.

Head of Service Execution Unit for Water Transport Management Unit Head, Wahyu Wijayanto expressed the port revitalization as an access for sea transportation to and from Seribu Islands carries the concept of a modern transportation node.

Its revitalization includes the construction of a two-story building along with facilities such as office space, prayer rooms, toilets, canteens, lactation rooms, and a garden with a disability-friendly concept.

"The concept is to make a dock similar to an airport. Moreover, in the future, this port will be integrated with other modes of transportation," he said, Wednesday (9/28).

There are currently three round-trip crossings, namely Line 1 (Muara Angke Port - Pramuka Island), Line 2 (Muara Angke Port - Tidung Island), and Line 3 (Muara Angke Port - Kelapa and Sebira islands).

He added the tariff for the ticket payment system was adjusted by Gubernatorial Regulation No. 61/2020 with tickets that could be purchased at the pier.

"In the near future, we will implement an e-ticketing system. We are currently in the process of cooperating with Bank DKI," he stated.
