Prepare Your Umbrellas, BMKG Forecasts Rain All Day for Jakarta

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is urging Jakartans to prepare themselves with umbrellas and raincoats as it predicts that rain will pour over Jakarta on Monday (10/10) from afternoon until night.

Be aware of rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in South Jakarta and East Jakarta in the afternoon until late at night,

BMKG issued that light rain will pour over the city, except in Seribu Islands which has potential to see cloudy.

As the evening approaches the evening, rain with heavy intensity in a short duration is expected to hit parts of South Jakarta and East Jakarta.

BMKG: Bright and Cloudy in Most Areas of Jakarta Today

"Be aware of rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in South Jakarta and East Jakarta in the afternoon until late at night," stated BMKG's official website.

At night, most areas will be clear and cloudy.

Entering dawn, West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta will be cloudy, while North Jakarta and Seribu Islands will see light rain.

Today's temperature ranges from 23 to 33 degrees Celsius with an air humidity of 75 to 100 percent.

Nevertheless, people must keep an eye on weather predictions to prepare themselves.
