Residents and PPSU Clean Up Mud Left Over from Inundation in Cawang

Currently, the inundation has completely receded

Some 20 members of PPSU were deployed to help residents clean up the garbage and mud left over from the inundation in Cawang Urban Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, Wednesday (10/26).

Cawang Urban Village Head, Didik Diharjo said that the handling of garbage and mud after the inundation was carried out manually in the homes of residents and the affected environment.

According to him, several locations that are inundated are Jalan Taman Harapan RT 04, 02, 07, and 15 with a water level of 50 centimeters, now it has receded. Then there are also Jalan Terusan Kalibata RW 05, precisely in front of Binawan Campus, Jalan Tanjung Sanyang RW 08, RW 12, 02, and 01.  

"Currently, the inundation has completely receded. We remain alert to anticipate further inundations," he stated.
